Vancouver Island businesses get a chance to honour that segment of their professional communities to whom the future belongs – those under 40 years of age – in the first annual Vancouver Island’s "TOP 20 UNDER 40 AWARDS" sponsored by the Comox Valley’s Old House Village Inn & Spa.
Anyone can nominate entrepreneurs, executives, managers and professionals in public, private, and non-profit sectors. Nominations are based on such values as achievement, experience, innovation, leadership, and community involvement. Nominees will have demonstrated excellence in business judgment and leadership and for contributions to their communities on a local and regional level.
The first annual "TOP 20 UNDER 40 BLACK TIE AWARDS DINNER GALA PRESENTATION" will be held in the Comox Valley on February 15, 2013 and will include a private reception for honourees, a banquet and awards ceremony. Awards include a unique, originally-designed trophy and a framed certificate as well as acknowledgement in Island media and in the Official Commemorative Program.
"TOP 20 UNDER 40 AWARDS" is now inviting leaders from the Vancouver Island business community to participate as regional judges to vet the nomination of award candidates.
